Vive La Tarte
1160 Howard St, San Francisco, CA 94103
We’ve been told vive la tarte defies categorization but we like to think of it as a neighborhood-gathering place for people in search of remarkable food. We are bakers, artists and dreamers. Vive la tarte is a place where we come together to pursue our wildest ideas, with a single intention in mind: bringing meaningful and nourishing experiences to our guests. We immerse in our craft every day, and work the choisest local ingredients with our hands, reaching a higher state of conscience by giving the very best of ourselves, relentlessly. Leaping from one ingredient to another, inspired by the thrill of possibility, and grateful for the thousand of generations that contributed to the craft. We are excited by the idea of elaborating on California’s sense of place with refinement and imagination. Our space is designed to maximize natural light and airiness, to initiate conversations, to encourage connections. Our belief is that food taste better when served with a purpose and shared with others. We’ve partnered with like-minded friends for our beverage program, we source remarkable coffee from Justin & Jerad’s Sightglass Roastery, distinctive teas from Aaron & Gina’s August Uncommon and singular natural wines with the expert assistance of Luc from Terroir. Our doors are open. Come gather here. We’ve been told vive la tarte defies categorization but we like to think of it as a neighborhood-gathering place for people in search of remarkable food.
