Asian Youth Center offers an array of after-school programs. It also offers a home-based program that fosters parenting practices, promotes responsible youth behavior and decreases delinquent activities. The center s after-school programs offer several educational, recreational, social and cultural activities. Its teen programs provide academic assistance and leadership development services to students in grades nine through 12. The center s tobacco control and prevention program empowers the community to advocate for policies that promote healthy lifestyles. Its school-based HIV/AIDS program provides prevention and risk reduction activities that help youths avoid HIV infection.
