Established in 1994, Gabrielino High School serves more than 1,500 students in grades nine through 12. Its facility includes more than 65 classrooms, choral room, stage crafts workshop, computer labs, media center, cafeteria, lockers, football stadium and a more than 350-seat theater. The school operates a disaster preparedness plan that includes fire and earthquake drills in cooperation with the San Gabriel police and fire departments. The school s library is stocked with materials in Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese and French. Located in San Gabriel, Calif., Gabrielino High School offers college preparation activities and programs as a part of the school curriculum. It consist of a career center that hosts an annual college fair and provides students with information on colleges, universities, financial aid and the application process. Additionally, the school offers more than 10 advanced-placement courses.
