OMG best short-rib dish ever. They serve it spicy in a hot pot. Cheese is three dollars extra--sprinkled on top and then blow torched. I could have saved the three dollars because the combo (soup + entrée + two drinks) was plenty. We took home leftovers.

Finally a Korean restaurant that specialized in combination beef soup pots is in San Gabriel Valley. I was excited to try this new place! It's located in the same plaza as 168 Supermarket and Young Dong Soon Tofu.

The interior seemed large and fairly decorated. We arrived around 6:50pm on Wednesday, they seated us in right away. The restaurant gets really crowded after 7.

The prices of beef soup pots varied from $30-40. The pot comes in good size, but it's a bit too much for 2 people and a little unsatisfying for 3. Taste was descent and yummy. Some braised beef were great in texture, but some were quite chewy (tendon and ox tail). There were only a few types of banchan, but refillable. Customers can choose between white rice or purple rice that comes with the soup.

Service was friendly, but speed was lacking unless you keep pushing the bell on the table. There were several waiters passed by and asked how we were doing, but they did not attempt to refill the water or side dishes unless requested. Music was upbeat and loud, not a good place for chatting.
