Advent Group Ministries provide therapeutic services to troubled and abused youth and their families through a professional staff of counselors and social workers and a network of volunteers. Its foster homes serve homeless children and provide training, counseling, support and financial assistance to foster parents. It also has recovery group homes that offer residential treatment for addicted and emotionally disturbed youth. Its counseling center provides individual, couple, family and group counseling, psychotherapy and substance abuse assessment and treatment for adolescents and their families. Advent Group is located in San Jose, Calif.
