I found it by accident. I like their style. If I want mall clothes well then I will go to the mall.

Everytime I've walked into someone says hello to me right away. The owner is super sweet and nice. She definitely has style as reflected by her store. The hats there are top notch! I've found designer stuff like a YSL retro black silk blouse and I've also found the cutest homemade dress that I KNOW I will never see another woman in. This feels like a real thrift store. It's the way I heard Berkeley used to be. It's not overpriced or uber trendy with sales girls that are too cool for school. I never leave empty handed. Oh and there's a really good men's selection! If they're not into it they have a sofa area where they can just check out flyers local dj's and clubs put there. They definely have more of a sense of community there.

I like this place because it's a real vintage store. It's items are very unique. Some are home made. Other pieces I won't run across again. Their items aren't just old True Religion Jeans. Yes, that also means there is that "vintage look" to the store that may turn off people that never go thrift store shopping, but I have never tried on anything there that wasn't clean. The place is kept up by super friendly staff. The other store down the street has their girls with the trendy haircuts if you're looking for fluff. This place is unique because they have their personal style. They don't need to blast dance/rock music and hire 12 yr old girls to be snotty to everyone in order to look cool. They are relaxed and would make anyone feel at home. Oh and for anyone selling...they want unique items that are truely a gem so if the age cannot be determined, but is in good condition they'll probably take it instead of adhering to some trend book and checking the label.
