ebay = DOAI'm new to the system and have several sales almost completed except for the payment. The customers are making the payments but they are not being credited to my PayPal account, which they should be automatically. I e-mailed Customer Support several times and got only one reply "we have a team working on the problem." After that I got no resdponse to follow-up emails and I still can't complete a transaction. I spent half an hour getting them on the phone only to speak to a young girl who had no idea what was going on. She put me on hold 5 times and then transferred me to another office that had nothing to do with PayPal deposits. I also found out that getting a PayPal Plus credit card does not give you verified status. I called PayPal Plus and they told me that hasn't been in effect for a long time, yet eBay still uses it as a come-on to get you to use their card. I was going to complain to ebay headquarters until I read the other reviews. Well, back to the garage sales.

This mega-business has the absolute most indescribably worst impersonal, condescending, non-responsive and patronizing so-called customer service staff. These people don't know the meaning of the term customer service, let alone how to provide it! If you're a buyer or a small seller, they could not care less about you. Forget about reaching anyone on the phone or even getting anything other than a nasty, canned form letter response. It is a complete exercise in futility, and insulting to one's intelligence. How they can continue with this and remain successful is beyond me. My many attempts at trying to get Ebay to straighten out a problem that was their fault to begin with have resulted in nothing other than raising my blood pressure.

Their definition of Customer Service

Their definition of Customer Service is giving you the run around and your inablility to talk to a live representative. They'd rather you email them back and forth or send you on the quetions and answers portion of their website so that way, you won't bother them. It's amazing that they're still even in business. Note to EBAY: Don't list your phone numbers in this directory if you're not going to answer customer complaints and concerns. Just like you feel we're wasting your time, you're wasting our time too calling all of your listed establishments and getting the same old tired message from each one.

When you want to speak to someone in the executive office, you must leave a message - no call backs

I called this number several times, it ended costing me a lot of money, I have left messages and still no response. Buyers that leave neg feedback and complain even though the item is sent and received in perfect condition, can complain about the seller and have their account suspended and removed, and there is nothing you can do about it. These people listen to lies but are not accountable - they can give you a bad reputation and leave you on hold. Watch out - there has to be a better way. Dont count on email responses without receiving lots of paper to print. Very dissatisfied.

Best of...NOTHING

Just the problem with one seller is over 35 pages, printed out and sitting on my pc tower. Paypal has been more helpful, Ebay gives one the run-around. Corporate told me that they would assist me with a seller that was charging excessive s&h. I provided the same info over & over, tg for copy & paste, and the ability to send mail. I am back to square one, and the seller has more than enough money to send the remaining items. $88 worth of items, with my so called discount, almost $500 s&h. I'd pay, he'd refund. Finally, paid $127.66, and he sent one of two "large" packages. The package weighed less than 2 lbs, packaged with pieces of styrofoam and yellow paper. Some of the items were bundled together w/cheap bubble wrap & the yellow paper. No return address. He did not use the expensive Chinese postal service. It was sent Global Express. I called our postmaster. Looked up shipping charges for non-business, USPS/China/GE. Ebay CS said I was aware of his fees. WRONG. I can read ship chart.

This business operates 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year yet they feel no need for it's users to be able to contact customer support on the weekend! If you do call during business hours, be prepared to wait a very long time to speak to someone. I guess it takes awhile to route the call to their support center in India! The same goes for their live help. If you have an afternoon to waste, give it a try!

Nothing at all, not sure how they stay in business, very poor customer service!

This company auction service is horrible, very bad experience on the first day. The are prjudice against new memebrs and favor grandfathered members that have made them money already. My account was closed by them because there prmier customer called my home sveral times and verbally abused and threatened me.
