Kristin Dickens first considered a career in catering after graduation from San Jose State University with a degree in Business Marketing. She decided to cater “just for the summer” following graduation and 30 years later The Party Helpers is one of the leading caterers in Silicon Valley. Kristin launched The Party Helpers with her ability to generate sales, create a marketing plan and decorate while learning about recipes, menus and portions (all the early parties had an abundance of leftovers)! The Party Helpers soon became synonymous with excellence in the field of Catering and Event Planning. With her attention to detail and organization, Kristin has always embraced the belief that every catered affair, no matter what size or budget, is an important one. Even after 30 years, Kristin still caters to her original clients and now to their children as well! The Party Helpers has seen many clients through all of life’s milestones; from christenings, to graduation parties, weddings, baby showers and funeral gatherings. The mission statement defining The Party Helpers has always been personal, professional catering. Kristin and her staff understand that with this goal must come a deep sense of commitment to excellence, coupled with a sincere effort to consistently go beyond the client’s expectations.
