This place really deserves 4 stars, however I am giving it 3 stars for my food yesterday. If they are trying to have a vegan meal with their Vegetable Burrito, they need to look at it again. Don't keep the back beans to just the green salads. High in nutrition these beans deserve to be in the burrito along with corn, green onion and bell pepper. Costly mistake was using mushy white rice and the run of the mill pot beans.



For the price I paid for the burrito ($11), I was thinking I would get a first class Cantina Burrito from Taco Bell for less money. Next time, I will bring my own in and just join the party for chips and drinks.

The food and the service in the "restaurant" is great. However, the cocktail lounge frequently has a "gang" presence who harass other patrons, especially other hispanic patrons who are not gang members; not a friendly/relaxing environment.

If this is Mexican, then Meixco is doomed. It is Tex-mex combined with tourist-mex. If it were not in tourist area, it would close in a month. Gringos call it a tradition....some die hard.
