Tessie owns and operates three senior living board & care homes for mainly seniors that need end of life care. Tessie took care of my loved one for about four weeks and she rescued us with short notice. Tessie and her caregivers did their best, but my loved one was deteriorating quickly and I decided she needed the more modern and active community at Silverado Senior Living that Tessie told me about. What concerns me is the way Tessie poorly handled our leaving.Tessie requires that you pay for the month in advance and we left in the middle of the month. Tessie's rates are not cheap and we had over $4,000.00 of unused services. I have made several attempts to contact Tessie to discuss a least a partial refund, but she disregards all my communication attempts. My advice is beware of her contract and handling of the money.
