I'm simply giving this place one star for their inability to tell me why they denied my application. My fiance and i turned in an application and we met the income requirement of the property we wanted to rent, however i was the only one with credit, meaning he had none, which we told them when we gave them the money to run our credit. They gave us a call the next day to inform us that our application had been denied. The person who call me, i believe it was Joan, (not entirely sure)...I am not exaggerating in any way, she said "your credit score is high and we don't understand why, that is why we have to deny you." I then explained to her how much i have taken out in loans and how i have payed them on time and even before the began to bill me...she then said the same thing again. As you can imagine i was extremely confused, why wouldn't you want to rent an apartment to someone who has a good credit report? My fiance then went to the office to simply talk about it and they gave him a completely different answer. They said it was because he had no credit. If they would have said that to ME on the phone i wouldn't have been so upset and confused. Then i was disappointed that they wasted our time because they could have told us that we would have been denied from the beginning because they knew my fiance had no credit. I guess they really wanted to 70 bucks to run those credit reports...I really tried, we met the income requirement, i have good credit, and great references, which they didn't even bother to call. We wanted to make them feel comfortable and let them know that even though my fiance had no credit they were not taking any risk. I UNDERSTAND WORDS DO NOT MEAN A THING SO WE OFFERED 3 MONTHS RENT, EVEN 6 MONTHS RENT WITHIN 30 MINUTES. They DECLINED the offer. They had NO other offers for the same property, WE ASKED. Apparently they do not like to give good people a chance. Unfortunately I would not recommend this real estate company, they failed to fully explain things and i feel like they do not care much for their potential customers. I sent an email to the owner, he never replied obviously because he doesn't care.
