Provided by YP.comCrooks in my opinion.
I have an adult disabled daughter, who suffers from Autism. This company claims to empower disabled adults. It organically presented itself as a day program that was based out of a local community college. This was not true and the clients rarely even visited the college. They were taken there a few times just to hang outside on the campus. They also did a little work for the Red Cross.
The clients spent the other 95% of the their time being taken to hang out at malls in the east Oakland area, going go back and forth on shopping trips and to eat at fast food restaurants regularly. They were taken to visit liquor stores to buy little snacks, just anything except attending college. When they weren't doing that, they hung out at an old dingy church, which belonged to the program owner's Dad. When confronted about this by the local Regional Center. The company's owner scrambled and wrote my daughter and me a company check that bounced. She said this was intended to be payment for work my daughter had done. We all of a sudden began getting all types of paperwork in the mail from this company, false records and things like that.
My daughter wasted 2 precious years at this program and not only did she regress significantly. She picked up a good number of bad habits, due to this program's negative influence
I don't recommend this company for anyone. Beware.

Provided by YP.comDon’t be surprised if you are given mean looks by an overbearing individual that asks redundant questions. When trained, many details might be omitted: I.e. what cabinets you have access to, the contents and their corresponding keys. At times details are twisted to the advantage of others. For example if you leave a note about a work-related reimbursement and they confirm it was received the next day, don’t be surprised if they later claim it was found “two weeks later shoved in a box”.
Some of the staff appear to care more about trivial details (such as which higher up member has been informed directly of a personal emergency situation) than they do the present health of the employee. It is difficult to please yet alone appease.
Furthermore if your child has a fever/ infection expect to be told you’re given “one hour” to take them to the hospital. If you ask about missing hours, it is possible that you will be suddenly blocked from the punch in/punch out login portal.
If you want a mature, respectful working environment that doesn’t have a lot of drama, you might want to consider another venue.
Don't be surprised if you're written a bad check! Consequently charged $28 fee for a bounced check.
A few of the staff have nothing better to do than make petty complaints about everything under the sun! Don't blame others for your own indiscretions.
