Rude, rude, rude

Yellow Cab lost my reservation and wouldn't accommodate me, so I was running out of time and needing to get to the airport for my flight. I frantically called 234 and explained my need for a cab quickly. The guy asked how quickly and I said as soon as possible like now, and he retorted cabs and now don't go together, call Yellow Cab. Then he hung up on me. Jerk!!!! What a rude SOB.

Horrible service!

I contacted this company recently to pick up a group of us at a local event. I gave them my name as there were several people trying to get taxis. The cab arrived in the time specified and picked up a completely party. As we stood there shocked the driver asked for me by name. He said he was supose to pick me up but would take that party and be back in 15-20 minutes. We already had been waiting for 20 minutes and he expected us to wait again. I called the dispatcher and was told that they had a party scheduled to be picked up at the same time and we would have to wait. SERIOUSLY? Why they didn't dispatch a second taxi if there was going to be a conflict or why they didn't tell me it would be longer is beyond me. Just shoddy service from an unreliable company. We ended up getting a ride from a gentleman from Yellow Cab of SLO who saw what happened and came back to get us after he dropped off his fair. Will definitely call them next time.

Really great service!

I've used 234Taxi two times and the drivers have been great. They were on time and were great conversationalists. I love the fact you can pay with a debit or credit card, too.

A bit dissapointed...

I have no doubt that this taxi can company is professional and friendly. But my experience with the dispatcher was rather dissapointing and seeing such positive reviews, I was hoping for better service.
I read online about booking the evening before if you needed an early morning pick up. So I called in and a friendly lady answers. I talk about needing an early pickup. I tell her that I need to catch a 6:45 am train and that I needed a cab at 6. She said the earliest was 6:30 and I asked her if there was any way to get a cab slightly earlier- and just a curt no. I was a bit put off and said politely that I will just find another company that can accommodate me. And she said okay as if she couldn't care. If I was the manager I'd be upset. She turned away business over a measley time difference! She could have scheduled a cab at least for 6:15 so that I could make my train. Very dissapointed.

Went with Beach City cab co. instead. (they are around the clock service). Unfriendly, but still- almost anytime you
need them, you'll get them.

Taxi service at it's best!

What a breath of fresh air to ride with 234-taxi. After a long day of horrible planning, at least this cab company was very accomadating. They were waiting for me when I stepped off plane in a clean minivan with a friendly driver who was very knowledgeable of the local area. She let me use her phone to find a hotel and even arranged for me to be picked up the next morning. It's just one more reason I love slo's small town atmosphere.
