Founded in 1977 by Carlos Arriagada, a Certified Photogrammetrist (ASPRS) Central Coast Aerial Mapping performs the photogrammetric mapping, analytical bridging and digital orthophotography in house at our facility located in San Luis Obispo, CA. Our in house photogrammetric technicians and modern 3D equipment provide the highest precision and resolution for our mapping and orthophotos. In 1995 the San Luis Obispo office began operation under the supervision of Robert Lafica a Certified Photogrammetrist by the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. ASPRS CP-1241. During the course of our operations, we have had the opportunity to work with numerous State, County and City agencies including the LA County Transportation Commission, Metro Rail, Los Angeles International Airport and the Counties of Santa Barbara and Ventura. We comply with map accuracy standards as set forth by Mapping Guidelines published by the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping printed by U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey National Mapping Division file report 86-005: Reston, Virginia.
