When I decided to purchase a new leather sofa, I found the one I wanted from Bassett. To begin with the customer service agents were very friendly and accommodating. After dropping nearly $2000, I was told that my sofa would be probably be delivered by the end of the week but that they had to give me a 1-2 week estimate. The two weeks are nearly up and I called for an update since I still have not been contacted for delivery. Apparently, not only will I not be getting my couch within the quoted two weeks, but I'll have to wait an additional 10 days. I asked if there was anything else that could be done (i.e. getting the sofa from another warehouse etc.) and the RUDE service agent replied in a snotty voice, "I don't know what you expect me to do. I don't control the weather!" Well excuse me! If I could cancel my order at this point I would. Do yourself a favor and go with a company that values you even after you've handed over your credit card. SHAME ON YOU BASSETT!
