My dog has been there many times until I've noticed a weird behavior. Few months ago my husband picked up Jasmine (our golden retriever) from that place and she behaved so weird. He didn't tell me cause didn't think it was anything serious, when they were leaving from Holiday pet hotel she wanted to run away, she jumped so quickly to the car, her tail was underneath her body. When he told me that we didn't know what happened but at the same time we did not pay attention. We had to leave for a trip again so I reserved a spot for Jasmine at the Holiday Pet Hotel. When we walked in (at first she did not want to get off the car, then she dragged me off the door) Jasmine was scared, did not want to go in, at that point we did not have time to look for another place cause our flight was in an hour from Carlsbad. I thought about Jasmine the whole trip that something's bad happening at that place. We came back to pick her up and the same behavior, scared running straight to the car. Next time I brought her to another place and she was fine, she was happy as usual, especially to see new people. Dog can't talk obviously but they're not stupid, I still don't know what happened over there, I was thinking someone hit her or something.
