Paloma Elementary serves more than 1,100 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school operates a library and media center that offers various resources and programs, including accelerated reader programs. Additionally, it offers a range of programs, such as gifted and talented education, reading recovery, bilingual education, regional day school and summer enrichment. Paloma Elementary has a parent-teacher association that organizes various fundraising activities that include assembly programs, Scholastic book fairs and school spirit nights. The school s academic curriculum includes special education, reading, art, math, science, social studies and physical education. It is a part of the San Marcos Unified School District.
