CLOSED NOW - Opens at 9:00am

I called ahead at 4:30 PM on Sunday for my haircut. The person who answered the phone took my name and told me that the wait would be 45 minutes. I arrived at the San Marcos location at 5:05 PM and was told by the receptionist that the store was closed. I explained that I had called ahead and that I was told the wait was 45 minutes. I was refused service because it was after 5:00 PM.

On my way out, I told the receptionist that it would have been considerate for her to remind me that although the wait is 45 minutes, the store closes at 5:00. She replied, "Have you not been here before?"

I felt that this was rude and no way to treat me as a loyal customer. I have been getting haircuts exclusively at the San Marcos establishment for over 2 years. Frankly, the haircuts are mediocre and definitely overpriced. However, I have chosen Sport Clips as "my" barber because the customer service has always been exceptional. And now with my new opinion and disappointment, I'm re-evaluating why I go there.
