I was there in 1999 and Dr. Wassel was telling his assistant about his trip to Hawaii (during my operation) and how he had pearl divers get pearls for his daughter and how expensive they were. But he figured for his daughter a one time splurge was okay. It was like I wasn't even in the room. He just went on and on the whole time talking about his daughter and hi trip. I was not the main event his trip to Hawaii and his daughter was! I can understand the psychology of creating a focal point other then the procedure to take the patients mind off of the operation, but I thought it was totally rude!

Dr. Wassel and his staff were great. They had my kid in and out of there in 30 minutes for four wisdom teeth extractions. Then on the way home, Dr. Wassel called to make sure my son was doing OK. And, when I asked them to recheck him a few days later they gladly did so.

I would definitely recommend this Dr. and his wonderful staff!
