I hired these guys and I have to say, after dealing with them, the review by A.Winknot is very accurate. But for me, it went a little further. When I called them, the main guy Michael, was very polite and very prompt. He said he had some down time and could take care of the job very quickly, 1-2 days. We agreed on a price for doing the drywall and he gave me a bid to paint separately and agreed after the drywall was done he'd paint too. So like the other review mention, they became much less prompt after starting. Then after 2 days, Michael said the job was bigger than he thought, and even though he wouldn't charge me more, it would take longer. He mentioned he got another job in too. He was splitting his time between multiple jobs and acting like he was giving me all of his time. Well after a couple more days, he said we was going to be done the next day, I went and looked at it and told him about dozens of places that weren't right. He said no worries, those would be done by the next day and then he would paint. He wanted to money for the jobs then. So I came the next day inspected the work. A couple of the problems had been addressed and I told him about the others. He said he had to wait for the stuff to dry and he'd be finishing them soon. This is where I made a mistake, I paid him. Stupid me.

Anyway then next day he painted and was gone.

I didn’t find a lot of problems until it was too late but there so many, I sometimes wonder what I saw during the work. The paint was the worst paint job I've ever seen. You could walk into the rooms and clearly see streaks, lines, places where the place was so thin you could see the floated portions of the wall behind, etc. Also the worst part was there were huge globs of the mud that were all over the wall, which he painted over. You could walk over a knock a golf ball size chunk of mud off the wall leaving a huge unpainted spot in its place. There were dozens of these. And even worse, he didn't tape the windows, so our windows are covered in paint too. That’s just the paint, there are a lot more, for example: the openings around boxes were way too big to be covered by wall plates, you could read every joint of sheatrock in the ceiling, the tape was showing in every corner. The floor was covered in dried mud that took us a week to scrap off (concrete floors) using power tools. He took a bath towel from our closet to clean a paint spill. he dumped the excess mud into the center our back yard, killing a about a 10 square foot section of grass. I could go on, but I think you get the point.

After all of that, I called him dozens of times, if he answered, he would say he'd be out the next day, obviously we've never seen him again.

I take part of the responsibility. I should not have paid him. But be warned, this guy is super nice, and polite, but his work is not!

One thing is for sure, these guys were really nice. The owner in particular was very polite and went out of his way to correct any errors that came up throughout the job. He was quick to apologize and seemed intent on doing a good job.

If you decide to go with them, I strongly suggest you give them a firm start time and request that they're extra cautious when covering the floors and furniture. They certainly weren't the timeliest company and i didn't love the specks of paint on my kitchen counter. But, like I said, everything turned out well in the end and the price couldn't be beat.
