Provided by YP.comI've owned a unit at Park North for 8 years, and lived there for 5 of those years. The most important thing to understand about Park North is that it isn't an apartment complex, it's a condominium complex. This means ALL units at Park North are individually owned by different people, so any experiences with management, interior layout/fixtures/style, and rent price will vary unit to unit. The best bet for anyone looking to buy or rent here is to tour the actual unit that is for lease or sale.
The complex has made huge changes over the past 5 years, including new HOA management (which is on-site, but does not manage most of the units just the "common areas" of the complex) and a complete turnover of the Board of Directors which has lead to major positive changes. I love the new dog park area. The grounds have improved and continue to do so all the time, and the pool/courtyard area is great. All the big trees give make a park-like setting. There are plans in the works for many more improvements, a few being a new fence and new landscaping this year. The HOA is not "special assessment" happy, which is nice for owners.
There's a good mixture of students, families, and individuals who live in the units. It's a mostly quiet complex in a fantastic location: A few steps from two Texas State bus stops, a short bike ride to campus, walking distance to the stadium and basically anything else you need to get to, and less than a mile down the road from I-35 (without the freeway noise). I loved my time at Park North and have had happy tenants since we've moved because it's a great, well-rounded place to live.

Provided by YP.comI have lived here for about 6 months now. So far the only real complaint I have is I can hear through through walls if my neighbors are conversing loudly or listening to music at a high volume.

Provided by YP.comWe have the 2 bedroom 2 bath model and love the layout. The grounds are being kept up and the oak trees taken care of. The pool is great, not huge but big enough, clean and has shade. We have lived here for nearly 3 years, no problems with the neighbors or staff. I saw a negative review and can't understand what the problem was.
