An exceptional attorney! In February 2012, our son was arrested on a felony theft charge. When our attorney unexpectedly passed away in August, Chevo took over our son's case at no additional cost to us. At our initial meeting, Chevo spent a great deal of time with us, addressing all our concerns, explaining legal procedures and possible outcomes, answering all our questions and generally reassuring us at a very stressful time. The case was finally resolved two weeks ago with a much better outcome than we anticipated (reduced to a misdemeanor charge with two years probation), thanks to Mr. Pastrano's diligent efforts. What can I say. There are no words for the level of dedication this attoney has. Very strong in the court room; thinks outside of the box with his defendants. This attoney is not affaid to go above and beyond. Just to give you a little back ground of my case. There was another company that wanted to bully us out of business. They hired high priced lawfirm out of Houston to sue us, and drive us out of business. At the end of everything that company agreed to all of our terms, and the high price attoney ran with there tails in between thier legs. HAHA. I will never use another attoney again.

I made a massive mistake seven years ago that landed me in more trouble than I bargained for. I was pulled over and lied about being my brother to try and avoid going to jail for an unpaid speeding ticket. I went to jail for DWI even though I was NOT intoxicated and bailed out under my brothers name. Lying about being my brother was the single most selfish and shameful thing I have ever done. The first thing I did when I got out was hire Chevo. Later, the DA threw the book at me, indicting me on three felony tampering with government doc charges(3rdegree felony) and one felony false identification(state jail felony) charge. The economy had affected my business greatly and that along with the stress of legal trouble put me in a bind financially. When any other attorney would have (and he should have) dropped me, Chevo stuck by a scared broke and alone 21 year old kid. I would not advise you slow pay an attorney as I know for a fact he was fed up with me on several occasions.Even through this, chevo fought for me like I was his own and eventually got the DWI, and every single felony dismissed!!! Two weeks ago I was notified by my county that I was not allowed to vote or buy firearms because I was listed as a felon. They also notified me that there was some uncertainty because there was no official conviction on record. After several frustrating phone calls to Hays County I found out that I would have to get the DA and Judge to sign off on the fact that all three of the felonies that were supposed to be dismissed had not been filed with the other dismissals. That may sound like a cinch but there was no supporting court records that my charges were supposed to go down that way. To say the least this was a very tall order and was actually told so by the district clerks office. I called Chevo in a panick and explained the situation. He calmly and confidently explained he would get it handled and for me to relax. I reluctantly followed his instructions. Just like in your lives, I have had many promises and appointments made and peoples word given to me. As I am sure you know, almost nobody takes their word seriously these days so I was very uneasy about the situation. Fast forward to thirty minutes ago. Chevo gave me a call to inform me that the three tampering charges were signed to the original dismissal they had been left out of by the state seven years prior!!!! I could not be happier with Chevo!! After I had put him through the ringer, I call him seven years later and he still steps up to the plate and knocks it out of the park!! He did all of this for me and is actually ignoring me when I ask him where to send his money. I know he feels he was paid for this seven years ago and this should have been handled then so taking money feels wrong to him. It is my belief that good men have integrity thatunshakableable. Chevo Pastrano is undoubtedly a GOOD MAN and a GREAT ATTORNEY
