Griselda is the best at cutting curly hair. I came from Shreveport, Louisiana dreading the search for a new hairstylist. As a naturally curly (Shirley Temple curly) haired person....I've gone through a multitude of hairstylists that absolutely have no idea how to cut curly hair!!! So I checked out YP and saw a great number of raves for Griselda at Razzors Edge...and quite a few being curly haired people raves! I set an appointment with Griselda...and Wallah!!! The YP raves for Griselda were spot on!! I highly recommend her for all curly headed people in and around San Marcos!

This review has nothing to do with Griselda's ability to cut and style hair; she knows what she is doing when it comes to hair. This review has to do with her business practices. The one thing that I want potential clients to get from this review is this: MAKE SURE AND ASK THE PRICE OF THE SERVICE BEFOREHAND EACH AND EVERY TIME YOU GO. Prices are not posted and you do not receive a receipt with prices listed. Eight months ago, my daughter had the Brazilian Blowout done here. It was $250, which was a reasonable price. Three days ago, my daughter and I both went in for the Brazilian Blowout. My hair (shoulder length, and shorter than my daughter's hair 8 months ago): $350, my daughter's hair: $450! Yes, my daughter's hair was longer, but mind you it was 8 months later with 2 haircuts in between. When this was brought to Griselda's attention her response was that my daughter's hair was longer and that it cost her $1,000 to order the product to do our hair.

Griselda did offer to give me highlights "free of charge" but I do not frequent businesses that try to take advantage of their customers. It is a shame that this is how she chooses to run her business because she has now lost two return customers who come in for high dollar services. I certainly hope it was worth it.
