Before signing a rental agreement and collecting your keys; you would be well advised to first check with the Sheriff Department and the California Highway Patrol. You will learn Hilltop Commons has the highest rate of stolen automobiles in the area. I learned this well known fact from the Highway Patrolman when I reported my car stolen from Hilltop Commons premises.



You can't imagine how I felt when I learned this tidbit of information. I actually thought I lived in a secured gated community; only to learn every would-be criminal often come and go as they choose. They just simply walk through the front gate; according to my neighbors the lock has been broken for over a year.
