GHI Systems provides high-tech products for environment measurement and simulation technologies. It marketed the industry's first commercial personal computer based shock data capture system with the introduction of the Computer Aided Test system in the late 1970's. Since then, the company has developed products such as the CAT fast transient shock and vibration data capture & analysis system, impact velocity sensors, spectrum and time domain analysis tools and linear and rotational shock machines for product testing. In 1990, it introduced the industry's first portable PC-based 1 MHz digitizer system, the LapCAT. GHI Systems has headquarters in San Pedro, Calif.
