i i been fotunate to have found freds of marin after having been to a few stylists in marin i can say with assurance FREDDIE THE BEST!

i was impresse on my first appt. at freds of marins he paid attention to to me explaning what i wanted then proceed to cut my hair ill be back great haircut bob smith

Fred's been my barber for 30-plus years, and it'll be a sad day for me and my hair when he retires. He's a guy who knows his business, takes his time, and does a good job.



In addition to a reliably good haircut, I walk out the door with tips on restaurants to try, movies to see, and books to read.



I've steered friends toward Fred's over the years, and never had any complaints.

Customer focus is what Fred is all about! Fred is an EXECUTIVES place, he gives you ONE on ONE attention during your appoint time, just you and Fred.

He is established, experienced, and entertaining.

I have seen him a number of times and always leave looking better than I arrived. My haircuts are consistent and I never get any social comments like "oh just had you ears lowered".

Fred does the hair, the beard, mustache, and sideburns; he even brushes the loose hair off the shoulders if that is ever needed.

I got sick of the quick inexpensive experience; going to the same place and having someone different take care of my haircut, while the waiting area is full of children and other customers waiting to be next. NOW I have a BARBER, the same guy that knows me and my hair in a noise free private appointment environment.

Fred gives me the same cut every time and my look is consistent which is important to me in my position, I need to look my best at all times; I never know when an important meeting with a client or VIP will happen.

Fred understands that appearance is important and that it is the customer that defines that appearance.

He is not a quick stop cut, he is a professional cut in a professional barber shop atmosphere that gets you in and out as you needed it done.
