In Oct 2013 we needed to make a quick 1 week trip to Houston. Contacted Stewart about an RV he had listed. Since our departure date was 3 days hence, he verbally quoted $2602 for the week's rental & read me his BofA account info. I drove to BofA & deposited $2602 to his account. Immediately after returning from the bank, new circumstances dictated that we cancel the trip. Phoned Stewart & told him I wasn't going to rent the RV & to send the refund to my home address. **NO REFUND OR COMMUNICATION** 4 months later I e-mailed him about the refund. He replied that I would have it the following week. **NO REFUND OR COMMUNICATION** 3 months later I filed a lawsuit with Metro Court. Trial was held on 7 Mar 2016 & resulted in a JUDGMENT against Stewart. Final amount of refund received 19 Mar 2016. Ref Case No. T-4-CV-2014-005720.



Stewart replies: A number of circumstances caused the delay of the refund. I believe we had a good case in earning the reservation deposit, but the judge disagreed.

Don't rent here if you want your security deposit back!! I rented an RV for 10 days, ended up with a small rock chip in the front from highway use. The contract does not speak to that, but they are withholding my entire security deposit. Rock chips in the paint are more of a normal wear and tear that a vehicle gets. This company does not even deserve one star.
