Provided by YP.comIts hard to know where to start.
On one of the busiest weekends for the town, much less a restaurant in the heart of the car show. The owner and the entire staff saw to it that each and everyone received the most rapid and personal service, I have ever seen.
I felt, as well as other patrons that I had spoken with at the time, were made to feel as though they were apart of the experience as a whole.
My friends and I have never had a more relaxing, comfortable and satisfying dinning experience.
I would recommend this establishment on the service and personality alone.
Many, many thanks for a wonderful time. I will return as often as time allows.

Provided by YP.comWe used to eat at Jalepeno's frequently when we went to Sandpoint. We live in Spokane and often took guests there, or recommended they visit there when they went to Sandpoint. We won't any more.
Last night (7/30/07) we went there for a nice meal. The food was good, but the waitress was not. She did the antiquated "Flirt-with-the-guy-you-think-will-pick-up-the-tab-and -tip-you-more" thing, which was a turn-off to us all. We expected a friendly, personable wait staff person, but not one who winks furtively at a customer and tries to actually put her arm around him. We consider that inappropriate and unprofessional--or at least not the profession we were there for. We could even tolerate that behavior, if we must, to get a good meal, but after the waitress was courteously rebuffed by the gentleman's not responding, she then ignored all his requests. He asked for a drink and it came at the end of the meal. He asked for tortillas to go with his Fajita--which he shouldn't have had to ask for, anyway--and they came after he sat and waited while everyone else slowly ate their meals, but still finished.
We went in for a nice, relaxing meal, expecting the good service and good meal we paid for. We were disappointed.
