She started sewing at the age of five and never stopped. In 1980 she graduated from a technical college with a degree in clothing services. She is an expert who has 50 years of experience in the field. She currently lives in Sandstone, Minnesota where her business is based.

- Northwoods Embroidery offers a variety of services including embroidery, transfers, silk screening, monogramming, tackle twill, applique, numbers and lettering. Northwoods Embroidery has provided the surrounding area with business, family, and club shirts, team uniforms and more for the past twenty years. They also make shirts for the local golf course and bowling alley.
