recently my family and myself went to damons since i was visiting from florida and has always been my sons favorite place to dine when at the lake-we went primarily for the prime rib-which they informed us only on fri-sat-sun. we decided to order the other steaks to our dismay. As we set to admire the view we were looking at a large bird dropping on the window ,as we tried to enjoy our meal. We tried to adjust the shade and could not get it to work,so we ask,he instructed us to pull on it and said it must be broken,and walked away,so my grandson ate his meal in the sun and no offer of another seat,so we quickly ate our dinner and left. although the manager did come over to explain how bad things are,their was nothing on the menu that informed us of the changes on the menu. It was more of a fast food experience than a dining experience. In this shaky economy people want what they pay for and a pleasant surroundings. This also reflects in the tips the waiters recieve,although I suggested not to tip generouslly,but son did,but he will not be returning and was very dissappointed.
