Our two Cairn Terriers love to go to Pet Paradise. During the day they have a view of either the swimming pool and other dogs playing or wide open green space. In either case they can see dogs on the adjacent large spaces. We keep our dogs together. In the evening they use their private doggie door to go inside for the night. We use the option of paying a little etra for five additiojnal playtimes and special treats. While my husband and I are on vacation so are our pets!

We call Pet Paradise our dog's (Siena) vacation hotel! Siena gets very excited once she knows she is on her way to Pet Paradise. We feel we are leaving her in good hands and loving care.

I only used this resort twice.

First time: 3 days, 2 nights. My dog came home with bleeding paws, didn't even want to walk outside my backyard to pee! It was painful to hear my dog wining all day long, for 3 days straight after that!

As a response: they told me that they did medicate her paws, but nobody bothered to call me (as it states their contract) to let me know. And they simply told me to let them know if it got worse. No apologies!

Second time: 5 days, 4 nights. After telling them to keep an eye on her so she wouldn't end up like the first time, I took the dog home and now it has been 7 days that she refuses to eat!!! I have to feed her from my hands if I want her to eat something. She will not approach her bowl anymore.

The vet is still trying to figure out what happened.



Please do not use this pet resort.

I never had any of these problems at other resorts.

I have always left my two dogs at an upscale vet office with a kennel. They always came home very anxious and usually were sick two to three days after picking them up. I recently left them at Pet Paradise in Sanford and was so pleased with the service and attention they got. Both dogs were happy to stay, and were calm and content when we picked them up. I think they had as good a time as we had on vacation. :)
