Multiple people I spoke to told me NOT to adopt from PRBJ, but after reading the mixed reviews I figured maybe it was just a few people that had a bad experience. The staff members are so rude it's unbelievable! Not once did they show any sign of professionalism! Such a shame because we would of loved to adopt our next few pups and kitties from there since they are so close to home. Fortunately we have been given the name of another place, recommended by friends, and have completed an adoption there.(The Way Home, Inc.) I'm not really sure if these people are really in the business of giving an animal a "forever home"

She uses people, I was called into work on three different occasions, totaling 18 hours, and was told that I wasn't getting paid because I hadn't filled out an application. One that was never given to me. A complete fraud, think twice about doing any business there...

These people are crazy. I can appreciate people wanting to make sure dogs go to a good home but they take it to another level. Avoid these animal control freaks. Judy herself is one of the rudest people I have ever met.

Saturday I was able to take an awesome new addition to our family, Tiger. The negative reviews seem to be from people that hadn't followed the rules made by this organization, such as having your other animals spayed/ neutered and is giving an unfair review. The rules are set because they want to make sure your a good dog owner. Our family meet huge hearted people and meet our new love. Thank you!!

Pet rescue By Judy is an incredible group of people that took in a dog that very few people thought would have a chance. Smokey was an old guy that had been dumped in our neighborhood. Very sweet, calm, loving dog that now has a chance at a forever home! Thank you so much!!

I love this place and my 2 rescues from here. Saving an animal is the best feeling ever and I would never adopt from a place that put animals down- this shelter is a no-kill shelter.
