Established in 1974, the Seminole County Fire Department is administered by the Seminole County Government. The department operates more than 15 fire stations and utilizes a first response mutual-aid system. It responds to emergencies related to lives and properties. The Seminole County Fire Department s apparatus includes fire engines, tower and ladder trucks, and heavy rescue, advanced life support and special response units.
