My husband & I took our 5th wheel in here on a Sat to put on consignment. (It had 2 large screen televisions in it upon us dropping it off). Rusty told us that there was a cleaning fee of $210. & we would incur no other charges for him to sale our 5th wheel. I posted it on Facebook for my asking price of $25,950. Wed, an individual contacted me through my Fb posting. I referred them to call Quality 1 since they are handling the sale. The Fb individual called me back & informed me that my 5th wheel had been sold, per Christy at Quality 1 RV. I called and spoke w/ Christy & was told that Rusty had sold my RV on Monday. Interesting news to me because I haven't heard from Rusty. 45 minutes later I get a call from Rusty. I inform him of my Fb buyer & how I had posted it for sale on Fb. He tells me that he will call them right now & also asked me not to post it for sale because he would take care of selling it. I went ahead & took the posting off of Fb. He calls me back a few mins later & informs me that my Fb buyer would have to get financing & it would be 3 wks. He then informs me that the buyer that supposedly went into his office on Monday, offered $22k for my 5th wheel. I told Rusty there is no way that I can take that. I then put my listing back on Fb. My original buyer saw my listing and immediately commented saying that he thought it sold?! I asked him if Rusty called him. Nope..not a call from Rusty or anyone from Quality 1 RV. So Thursday, my Fb buyer goes to Quality 1 RV as an interested buyer. Did not mention me whatsoever. Rusty informed him that my 5th wheel has a deposit on it to be sold. He asked Rusty how much it was selling for. Rusty replies, "$32,850." That is $7k over my asking price & remember, Rusty is telling me that he has an offer for only $22k! My husband & myself go up there to pick up our 5th wheel. They tried keeping one of our big screen tvs that we left to be sold w/ our 5th wheel & also never had it cleaned like I had paid him to do.
