When the American Legion was created in 1919 by Congress, the organization's goal was mutual helpfulness for communities. As the largest veterans service organization, the American Legion provides programs for communities to strengthen relationships and provide safe spaces for locals. At American Legion Post 123, located in Sanibel, FL, we strive to keep that mission alive within our community.Unlike other American Legion Posts, our location at Sanibel serves the entire community rather than just the local veterans. We're one of the few locations that serve the public due to being a smaller Post location! Known for our food service and other local events, we're a staple in the Sanibel community.
