I cannot agree more with all of those customers complaining about the customers service, it is terrible, it takes for ever to have a technician to show up. Also, the first line of communication with customers is a disaster, they are refusing to provide a reasonable answers to an inquiring customer, namely they are unwilling to inform the customer when will the technician show up, when will the ordered parts be received, etc. Totally unacceptable!!! And, the expertise of their technicians is not so great as well, they often guessing the problem rather than finding it out by actual examination/testing, etc. Furthermore, they seems to have a leverage over their provider, namely American Home Shield. This is due to a lack of understanding of American culture and a language barrier of the American Home Shield customer service personnel. And on the top of it, one cannot get to talk to anyone higher in hierarchy. This is the reason why I am cancelling my contract with American Home Shield.

I have used AG Appliance Repair on several occasions. Each time the technician was on time and very professional. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly which part was needed to repair my stove. My new go to company is AG Appliance repair.

Signed - A very happy, satisfied customer!

Be very careful using this company. I was forced to use them by my home warranty company. I fired them due to this type of entrapment. It took 6 WEEKS to replace a heating element. Here's my story:

December 14th my dryer stopped heating. It worked perfectly in all other ways, it just didn't heat. I called my home warranty who sent the work order to AG Appliance Repair. They called me and I scheduled their technician to come out on December 19th and explained that I believed the heating element went bad. I guess I thought this would speed up the process. Obviously not!

December 19th their technician stated that he would not even check my dryer until I had an electrician out to check the fuses. I was not happy, but the guy was adamant. He then wanted $60 before he left. I explained he would not get any money from me. He relented and left. Irrate, I called the warranty company who would not change repair companies, but instead sent out a work order to an electrician.

So, December 31st the electrician came out and told me (no surprise) that my fuses were fine. It wasn't a fuse issue. I call the warranty company back and plead with them to get me out of this bad contract with AG Appliance Repair and again I was denied. They supposedly noted my complaint. They send out another work order to AG. Ugh here we go again....

January 5th, AG calls to schedule another appointment with a "Senior Technician. We agree upon January 10th. He comes out and tests the electricity at the outlet and tells me that it is not a fuse issue. Then he checks the heating element in the dryer and he states that it needs to be replaced. Someone please tell me why the first guy could not do that! Did he not have the same tools? I'm was so frustrated I thought I was going to throw up. As he was leaving, he stated he needed to order the part. I never heard from them again until I called them on January 21st. They said the part should be in that day or the next. January 24th I receive a call to schedule an appointment.

So, here it is January 28th. Exactly 6 weeks and 2 days since the original claim was made. I am hoping that today is the day that their technician can actually make my dryer heat again. I really don't want to pay another $40 at the laundromat this weekend.

What a horrible journey. Thanks for nothing AG Appliance Repair.

Rude-Poor Customer Service

I have been dealing with this company for over 6 months on a repair that should have been done within 2 weeks max.
They cost me more money in home repairs to my floor than what it cost to have them do the work properly the first time out.
Their employees can't even hardly speak english, won't look at you when they talk to you,and are very disrespectful...... "beyond words" to their customers.
On the final day they came out to finish the repair, one of their employees and I had a verbal disagreement about the work he had performed that day and when I asked this person to "get off my property", he stood on my sidewalk where one of my neighbours was present and looked at me and yelled back to me...."F*** Y**"!!! My neighbour was very shocked by the look on his face.
Needless to say, I called his employer immediately and asked to have him Fired. I did not deserve to be spoken to this way for "ANY" reason. This employee was completely out of line....By the way........His name is Andre.
If you are looking for someone to do home repairs on your appliances, "PLEASE DO NOT" call this company. You are better off to keep looking for a company that is more respectful and "MORE" qualified to do the work. I would "NOT" recommend this company to..... "Anyone" at "Anytime"....!!!
I'm also reporting this company to the Orange County Better Businesses Bureau for their lack of proper service and respect to their customers.
If I could give them a lesser rating I would....Trust Me,...but since a 1 star is the lowest I can rate them, I guess that will have to do. I would almost compare their work to the word...."Unsatisfactory" but that is even to good for them.
All I can say is...Please keeping looking and never......... "TRUST" anyone from A and G appliances if you are looking for a good repair company

These folks are crooks and lia...

These folks are crooks and liars. They came out the first time and charged me $45 for the visit and told me that it would be deducted from the total if I used them for the repair. The called back a week later to tell me that the motor for my trash compactor was $240 and that it would be an additional $140 to install. I paid for the motor with a credit card. When it came time to come out and fix it, they wanted to take it back to the shop with them, I told them that they probably wouldn't be able to get it out to do that. They came by anyway and had me destroy part of my floor and part of the cabinetry to get the compactor out. They still couldn't get it out and wanted me to destroy my granite counter top to remove it. I told them no way, put it back the way it was and refund me my money. They said I would have to call the office for the refund. About half an hour later they called to say the would refund the money but were going to charge me a restocking fee (which they had never mentioned). The manager "Maria" said she had spoken with my wife on the phone and gave me the date. I asked her how she did that as my wife was in the hospital at that time for a stroke. She says it doesn't matter she spoke with her and my wife agreed to it. (Laughable, totally laughable!) The girls in the office barely speak english and the people they send out are even worse. I only rated them 1 star because I can't give a lower rating than than. Now thanks to their incompetence, I still have a broken trash compactor and have to fix my floor and cabinet. The only saving grace is that I paid with amx and amx has already told me I wont have to pay these people a dime. My recommendation: STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM THESE PEOPLE! THEY MEAN YOU NO GOOD WILL!

KEEP LOOKING....

Stay away. The gals that answer the phones have major attiture, the repair guys can't speak english to communicate the issue with your appliance, and they take forever to repair it. It would also be nice if the repair guys took a shower and did not smell like BO and an ashtray.

Don't Call Them

My warranty company called these so call repair people ot to take a look at an intermittend. problem with my cook-top. This was 2 weeks before my waranty ran out. They did absolutely nothing and said there was nothing wrong with my cook top. When I called the warranty complany less than a month later AG said since the problem did not come up when they originally came out they would not honor the first call so that I could keep this as a warranty call. They are extrememly rude and I hope anyone looking for an appliance repair compnay will not use them.

Terrible Customer Service

Was told our washer would be fixed in a couple of days. Then was later told it would actually take 10 days for the part to come in. We found someone else the same day, he could fix our machine. This horrible company charged us a 20% restocking fee, and the part still hasn't even come in. Would never do business with this company. Very rude employees.
