We are new members of the John Henry Foundation. our daughter who has schizophrenia began a new chapter in her life when she moved in to this community on Monday, June 25 2012. Following our first Family Dinner and Meeting with other residents and their families last evening, I can tell you This is a Life Changing experience! In his talk to us family members last evening, Dr. Andrew Karmi enlightened us on the futility of fighting delusions. Rather, he suggested we follow the positive seed that is present in our loved one's thoughts to win back their Trust! Isn't that nspiring for those of us who for so long have struggled and lived without HOPE!!!
