Finding an apartment in SB was already a nightmare, and they made it easy to get keys, view units, and apply. After we had applied, they were very responsive with letting us know how the process was going. We had a REALLY bad experience trying to deal with another landlord in the area a renting very similar unit, who took our application materials but refused to tell us if we were accepted or denied for weeks because they were waiting to see if anyone better would apply. Bartlien's process was extremely straightforward and fair.

Once we had been approved and were ready to move in, we had a bunch of personal circumstances that led to us missing our appointment on a Saturday. However I was able to call their emergency services line (which answered right away) and track down both a key holder and rental specialist, who both were willing to DRIVE BACK TO THE OFFICE after hours, let us in, and sign our lease so we could move in that day.
