Carr Vineyards & Winery is a small hand-crafted winery located in downtown Santa Barbara. Winemaker and owner Ryan Carr made the first vintage in 1999. All of the wines produced at Carr Winery are sourced from Santa Barbara County Vineyards. The winery specializes in Pinot Noir grown in the Sta. Rita Hills Appellation. This region has been recognized for producing some of the finest Pinot Noirs in the world. Although the focus is on Pinot Noir, the vast microclimates of Santa Barbara County allow the winery to produce several other great wines including Pinot Gris, Cabernet Franc, Grenache and Syrah.

In addition to winemaking, Carr Winery also owns a vineyard management and development company. Carr Vineyards currently manages over 100 acres across Santa Barbara County. Because the vineyards are operated under Ryan Carr's supervision, the grapes are grown to his exact specifications making sure that only the finest grapes enter the winery.
