Going down Hill

I have been going there for over 25 years and have always been happy with the service. However, things change and not always for the better. I'm not sure what has changed, but the quality of the service has definitely gone down(a very steep) hill. I have had to really check the car out recently - the fenders weren't washed, the windows had streaks. The final straw was two day ago. When I went to look at the car, the usual mud had not been washed off the front. But worse, the hood looked like it had been smeared with some kind of goo. I went to the cashier who couldn't find the front manager, so said I needed to find the manage who was in the back. Well, he was busy but would be there "soon". I went back to my car and waited. After 5 minutes, the front manager came out. I started to show him the problem when the back manager showed up. I started to explain the problem and one of them said "now cool down, we'll fix the problem." Well at that point, I wasn't angry, but when I pointed out the condition of the hood and that it looked worse now than when I brought it in, all they could say was "that's not our problem, it need to be waxed." I said that it didn't look that bad when I brought it in. "Well we couldn't do that". It was like being in the movie "Dumb and Dumber". What about these spots on the hood? "We can't get those off."

Like I said, I have been going there for over 25 years. But no more. I know enough about cars to know that they could have cleaned it but did not. And they were just too lazy to run it through again. I took it home and washed it myself and it came out fine. This is a sad case of what used to be a good place has gone down hill.

Go some place else, shoddy work should not be rewarded.
