I've typically found a winery I really like, join their club for the discounts...then get tired of the same wines all the time. I looked at a few wine clubs, and decided on this one, and am glad I did. They have five different series: Gold, which are all California small wineries, award-winning wines all, but wineries you really aren't going to find anywhere else; Diamond and Platinum which are all 90+ or 93+ rated wines, a little above my pay grade, International, which I really love because the shipments include some gourmet treats from the country featured -- and Pinot Noir, which seems to be the second wine type I never tire of. (The first is any wine I drink while I'm in Italy). Lots of flexibility of frequency, number of bottles per shipment, no contract -- and when you find a wine you really really like, you can order more at discounted prices.
