Disappointed. Reasonable rates, but customer service is below average. They quickly asked for a donation, saying that they needed the money. Some of the personnel were definitely not peaceful or joyous, as one might expect at a spiritual retreat. Instead of "spiritual renewal", I felt emotionally uncomfortable. For me, staying at the well-managed Montecito Inn, eating at the Montecito Cafe (where the food great), and taking long hikes in the beautiful Santa Ynez Mountains would be preferable - and much more "spiritual".
