Provided by YP.comNice to work with a family owned small local business. Friendly and very knowledgeable. I wasn't sure exactly what I needed to tow my new tent trailer and I'm so glad I went to Eyers because it turned out I needed some specific electrical wiring and safety equipment I didn't realize I needed. The trailer now tows comfortably behind my SUV and I surprised myself that I can tow the trailer without being nervous and worrying about it swaying or losing control. Thanks Eyers. Provided by YP.comI brought my car into Eyers Hitch for a hitch and wiring for my new tent trailer. I had called around and this is the first place I found where the person on the phone actually sounded like he knew what he was talking about. Turns out the owners (a father and son) run the business and have been around forever. I wasn't sure what all I needed but luckily they did. So I figured I would have to drop off the car and take time off to pick it up but Eyers were able to do the job in about an hour while I waited. They scheduled me in and were ready for me when I got there. Needless to say, everything works great and I could tell these guys were experts. That means alot with equipment that needs to be safely installed. I found a couple of places that at first seemed cheaper, but Eyers was the only place that quoted me the entire price over the phone. The other places I called left out a bunch of stuff, like all the wiring parts and the ball I would need. All in all, I would highly recommend Eyers as being the best hitch place in the Valley. They've been around since the 60's and they know what they're doing. Nice folks too.

- Back in 1967, Cecil Eyers was searching for a good business to start. He knew it had to be something related to automobiles, which was where his talents and interests lie. He was in the market for getting a trailer hitch installed on his car to tow a boat he had just purchased, and the only place around that could do the job was pretty far away. As he was observing the hitch and wiring getting installed on his car, he was struck with the idea that he could do a better job of the installation, and the idea for a new business was born. He contacted the manufacturer of the hitch that was installed on his vehicle, who agreed to personally train him on all aspects of trailer hitch installation. Because Cecil has always enjoyed a great aptitude for anything mechanical, and had welding and repair training in the Navy, he learned quickly and soon excelled at his craft. The business took off soon after he opened his doors, and eventually, he brought his family in to help him run the business.
