I am a mixed race woman with crazy hair. I have tried many different salons in the San Jose area over the past 9 years and I just haven't been able to find the "right" match for my hair and personality. Sunshine Salon is definitely the one. The owner, Mesyret (sp?) listens to your wants and needs and gently explains what is best for your hair type. She does not rush her clients, she talks just enough but not too much and was concerned about my daughter (13) watching a particularly violent tv show and turned the channel(it just happened to be on when we came in) I left feeling beautiful, confident and womanly. The shop is small and unassuming but the service is impeccable.
