Provided by YP.comThis boarding kennel is located way back in the hills where fires roar through every few years. I happened to board my dog the weekend of a big fire and my sister drove up there to rescue my dog. The firemen were busy clearing the brush and moving away trash that was stacked next to the kennels. During this time, the kennel attendent was taking new reservations over the phone! According to my sister, she wasn't doing anything to help the firemen or the dogs. I am afraid to go back. I hope things have changed since then. I would recommend using this kennel only during the rainy months!
I believe this person has the wrong kennel. We have not ever had a fire here at the kennel/ nor up close. We are brush cleared for over 200 feet and we have our own fire hose and pump. We have never had firemen on the property and have always passed inspection each year. We also are not on a fire road and the fires that were in this area had the fire department only let my employees and myself on to the property. We have a caretaker on the property 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We have had 21 years safe fire free business.
