This place is a dump, and the new management are ineffectual, indifferent liars whose interest lies solely in profit.

OUR RENT WAS INCREASED BY $225; if we'd declined to sign a new 1-year lease, rent would have increased by an extra $100. We were informed AFTER signing that we now have to pay for water, trash, sewage, and a "service fee".

VERY LITTLE GETS REPAIRED.

THE BUILDINGS ARE FILTHY. Once new management took over, they fired the cleaning service, and ever since there has been garbage, dog urine and feces, and dead roaches in the building lobbies, elevators, and hallways.

WE CANNOT RECEIVE PACKAGES SENT THROUGH U.S. MAIL. A few years ago, a resident broke into the office and stole packages. Management decided to refuse to receive any of our packages at their office. They allow UPS and FedEx to enter our buildings and deliver to our apartments, but most of us here work full-time and are not usually home to receive these packages; this means you either have to depend upon chance, or risk having your package stolen by having it left at your door. To receive packages sent via U.S. mail, we must pick them up at the post office. New management say they have no plans to change this policy.

THE OFFICE RARELY ANSWERS THE PHONE. It is impossible to get ahold of them during open hours, and messages are never returned. There is an "emergency line" that goes straight to voicemail, and I have never had a call returned from whoever mans that either.

THERE IS CONSTANT, INCONSIDERATE CONSTRUCTION. Nearly all of the parking spaces in the lot were unavailable for weeks while they were working on the roofs. I have heard from others that the workers have entered their apartments unannounced and climbed onto their balconies unannounced. They have also been parking in our assigned parking spots.

BOTTOM LINE: Management care only about raising rent and pushing tenants out so they can renovate units and rent them out at higher prices. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

I have lived here for about 10 plus years. It's never been the best when it comes to management, but since the new owners have taken over, it been the worst its ever been. Starting with a huge rent increase of $225. If we chose not to sign their new one year lease, rent was to increase to over $300 more. If you thought that was bad enough, we then get a bill for our monthly payment with the added utility fees totaling up to $75. Talk about shady, the new manager rushed us through the lease signing and never told us about having to pay for water, trash, sewer and a service fee. Oh, and how generous of them...because we had been early birds, we had the "pet rent" fee waived. I think it was like $50/month per cat or dog.

Meanwhile, management tells us that they are going to refinish our balcony. We're told the day it's going to happen. I then haul everything off the balcony into our living room. The day comes that they claim work would begin...nothing...two days go by, weeks go by....nothing! We then call management and they tell us that work on the balconies got postponed. So we haul everything back onto the balcony. Weeks go by and we get a phone call from management. We're told that we need to remove everything from our balcony because on Monday work will start and will be completed by the next day. It's now Wednesday...no work has been done and we have a living room full of patio furniture, pots and plants...etc. I won't even get into the other areas of inconvenience this caused.

And get this...on their banner at the front of the building? "Change can be good"...right, for who? Definitely not for the tenants. If you're thinking about moving into this place...please think again.
