Lovely dresses at better prices and a good location, so I bought my wedding dress there. Then, I cancelled my wedding and returned the dress in unworn, unwrapped, perfect condition. The owner issued me a store credit. When I returned later to spend the credit on a wedding dress for a friend, the owner refused to honor it, even though the credit slip was in her handwriting. I calmly pointed out that now she had both my money and my dress, and I am out 100s of dollars. She said she would call the police to escort me out if I didn't drop the issue. Pointless to stay, I left. Small claims court here we come. I've asked around and this is not the first time she has refused to honor a store credit.
