Provided by YP.comWe have had our washing machine repaired at least twice a year, since 2005. Sears has been where we shop since 1975, but this washer had some serious problems.
We finally got a technician, Lorenzo, who was so thorough and conscientious about his job, that the machine runs better than when it was new! Thank you Lorenzo.

Provided by YP.comTechnician was personable, helpful and professional.
Unfortunately he misdiagnosed what the problem was with my refrigerator.
He quickly came to the conclusion and ran a test that "verified" the problem was the refrigerator thermostat.
Spent a fair amount of time trying to sell me a service contract rather than identifying the real problem.
(Second Sears repair tech I've had in this last 2 months (dryer problem) who spent lots of time selling a service contract but the first did fix my problem.)
I spent 2 days tracking down a replacement part for the replacement part. Brought another technician into install it and he said the diagnosis was incorrect.
He did a more thorough investigation and after a fair amount of hard labor said the problem was the compressor.
Refrigerator was dead and had to be replaced.
My conclusion: stay away from Sears technicians.
Did go to Sears to purchase a refrigerator and found the sales people I was talking to were confused about the dimensions and the volume of refrigerator storage. Not helpful but they did pass me off to some who knew what he was talking about.
So bad service, bad sales people and a somewhat depressing environment at Sears in Capitola.
Bought a refrigerator at Home Depot.

Provided by YP.comOverall I am happy with Sears Appliance Repair. The technician was able to quickly diagnose the problem ordered the parts for our dishwasher and on the second appointment quickly replaced the parts. The only negative was it took two weeks to get the second appointment.

Provided by YP.comThe service was set up for water found in the drawers. The technician said he knew the problem very well and guaranteed me the problem will be fixed with the new parts. The problem came back 2 weeks later. I need a follow up service. Hopefully this time, the servicemen will do a better job.
The 1st service was on 9/14. The 2nd was on 9/29. After about 1 week, we found water again. They will come again on 10/24.

Provided by YP.comI was very dissatisfied with my service. There's never sooner appointments available. I've been without a washing machine for the past 10 days and the technician that helped us was unable to fix our machine. Now we have to wait another 5 days to get another technician to stop by again.

Provided by YP.comI've had our machine looked at in the past from the Sears service department 6 technicians came out none would wotprk on my LG stackable washer & Dryers ,
They all said that they couldn't do it because they were at risk of damage . And in fact they were the ones that installed them . Under warranty they left the part ironically the machine started working after a few good old girl hits !
Well it worked for 3 more years then kaboom it broke again !
The young men came out and with no complaints the two amazing technicians had the washer up and running in no time ! Just goes to show with a good team it all works ...
Loved those boys hard working no complaints smart , strong and competent !

Provided by YP.comeasy scheduling..the serviceman was able to do all 4 appliances, & was very neat & helpful..he arrived on time and wore footies upon request to avoid tracking dirt inside...i have done this warranty service for 4+ years and found it excellent. when call for an interim problem they are again timely in their response & able to fix the problem...

Provided by YP.comIt took Sears svc 2 trips to fix a icemaker. There online svc is horrible, it kept cancelling our appt, then the guys show up, go figure, Beware Sears uses refurbished parts, anything the replace is not new...good luck...get someone else if you can

Provided by YP.comterrible. they've been out 3 times now and done NOTHING to fix a fully warrantied dishwasher. Avoid Sears.
