Joe Bailey did a $4,500 hatchet job on our (once) beautiful 65- year old hardwood floors. And that doesn't include the additional $1,500 we had to spend for a POD rental and movers to move everything out of the house (again) so Joe could "fix" his mistakes. That is when the situation went from bad to worse. The stain is uneven - very dark in some areas - especially along the floor molding and in corners - and very light in other areas. He promised two coats of Bona Street Traffic finish, but there is clearly just one coat (verified by a contractor) and there are huge areas that he missed altogether! No finish at all! This morning I found two spots where he seems to have spilled some of the finish and it has now hardened into big rubbery looking globs on my floor. We are heartbroken and out $6,000. I did what anyone would do - called Joe and asked for my money back. He agreed to pay back half. We set a date. He never showed up. Buyer Beware - Hire Joe B. at your own risk!
