Provided by YP.comCAUTIONARY heads up, for those looking for a Non-Denominational Church like we were. This church is listed/advertised as one, but they teach a very specific denominational type theology. Especially in regards to -Wives being Submissive to their Husbands- My wife and I learned this after about a month or so of attending. This aswell as a hand full of other issues, such as strong Political Stances, Loud Anti-Abortion Issues, Outspoken disregard for Animal Life etc...
This may be because the church is actually a blend of two churches that have become one. The smaller carrying a very strict stance on these issues, but they seem to be more and more the ones leading the church. Most of these issues come out in Community Groups they hold weekly, but are Also taught over the pulpit directly. Maybe these are some folks beliefs but our family doesn't practice HATE or BAIS towards others simply for gender etc.. Anyways a bit of a disappointment.

Thank you for taking the time to visit Blaze Christian Fellowship. It is my hope that you and your family have since found a good church in Santa Fe to call home.
To clarify, Blaze Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational church and a member of the Acts 29 Network of churches (www.acts29network.org). You were correct when you stated that we teach a very specific type of theology and we consistently make known our convictions on the following five theologically-driven core values (per the Acts 29 Network Distinctives):
1. Gospel centrality in all of life.
2. The sovereignty of God in saving sinners.
3. The empowering presence of the Holy Spirit for all of life and ministry.
4. The fundamental moral and spiritual equality of male and female as well as the principle of male headship in the church and home.
5. The local church as the primary means by which God chooses to establish his kingdom on earth.
With regards to your other comments, we unapologetically believe in the sanctity of all human life (Psalm 139; Jeremiah 1) and we do hold a complementarian view regarding gender roles. Specifically, we believe that men and women, though equal, have complementary and distinct gender roles in the church and home (Ephesians 5).
Lastly, we are not a blend of two churches. Two of our four pastors planted Blaze 10 years ago this month, and the other two pastors (myself included) were active members of the church prior to being elevated to the position of pastor.
I hope this clarifies some information for you. Should you feel the need to address any other issues, we would be happy to speak with you.
In His Service,
Pastor Vince Torres
